For Garmin Challenge Herning, a triathlon in Denmark, Garmin Denmark wanted a watch face with a countdown to race start as a marketing activation from Tigertech. The request was that countdown would start 50 days prior to race start and only count down days until it was less than 24 hours to start, from that point in time it should count down hours, minutes and seconds. When it is less than one hour to start, only minutes and seconds are displayed.
Tigertech built the watch face according to Garmin Denmark’s request, making it available for most of Garmin’s watches at the moment, regardless of their screen resolution.
